Brian Dow is the Managing Director of Superjuice, an agency providing PR, social media and influencer marketing services with offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Dow also serves on the Board of Directors of entertainment agency APA and as an advisor to Clique Brands.

At Superjuice, an agency partner of APA, Dow helps clients achieve their goals by developing strategies in the platform agnostic way people consume media. Known as the “attention economist,”

Dow established himself as a pioneer in the digital marketing space and in 2006 was one of the architects of the industry now known as Influencer Marketing. He continues to lead the way in harnessing and sustaining consumer attention to grow and monetize brands in the entertainment and lifestyle sectors.

Dow started his career at United Talent Agency, working his way up from the mailroom to become a branding agent. At UTA, Dow cultivated his interest in personality branding and pop culture until a friend recommended him for an opportunity to found a department of his own for rival APA.

Joining APA Agency in 2008, Dow was tasked with starting a branding business from scratch. Making the agency switch with him were pop culture new comers the Kardashian/Jenner family which Dow would go on to build a branding empire that spanned 23 countries in various categories and tiers of retail distribution over the next 7 years. Dow also signed Bethenny Frankel and created SkinnyGirl Cocktails, LLC which he sold 2 years later to Beam Global in a reported $100+ million deal. In 2013, Dow began working with client Clique Brands to translate their lifestyle influence and data-informed consumer insights sourced from their site WhoWhatWear into a line of lifestyle products. He succeeded in doing so by striking a multi-category exclusive deal with Target for the “Who What Where” apparel and accessories line which became the most productive brand on the Target women’s floor and continues to gross $125+ million annually. In 2016, Dow was invited to be an Advisor to Clique Brands and continues in this role today. Under his leadership, APA became the first entertainment agency to launch a PR business when in 2016 Dow tapped PR veteran Maggie Gallant to lead APA PR. Later combined with the agency’s social media and influencer marketing teams, the venture is known today as Superjuice.

Dow’s spectacular rise at APA has been awe-inspiring. At age 31, he became the youngest partner in the agency’s 50 year history and then went on to break another record when at age 33 was further promoted to become the youngest member of the agency’s Board of Directors. Dow was also the first person in the 80 year history of either publication to be honored with both Variety’s New Leaders 35 Under 35 (2011) and The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen 35 Under 35 (2012).

Dow takes a polymathic approach to business incorporating his experience in marketing, all facets of entertainment, pr, manufacturing and supply chain, etail/retail, start-ups and exits, social media, and influencer strategy into his dynamic approach. He has a solid reputation for creating brands and strategies that make buzz and move the needle. Dow considers himself an Attention Economist and believes winning within the attention economy is absolutely necessary to gain traction in people’s minds and motivate them to act.
